From March 18 – 24, 2023, PP Link Securities (PPLS), in cooperation with Cambodian Derivatives Exchange (CDX) and Goldwell Capital (GWC), successfully accomplished its roadshow campaign 2023 under the theme of “The Benefits of Financial Markets and How to Start Involving in the Markets” at Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, Battambang, Kandal, and Kampong Speu provinces.
The main purpose of this campaign was to extensively provide financial education regarding the local securities market, derivatives market, and other important investment-related information.
All seminar days were graced by respective deputy provincial governors namely H.E. Ly Sararit, H.E. Neak Neron, H.E. Moul Thon, H.E. Bun Pheng, and H.E. Horn Pheakdey, together with representatives from Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC).
As a result, the whole event welcomed around 700 participants and facilitated participants in registering Investor Identifications for domestic securities investment. Consequently, there were 126 completions and there are numerous forms holding for supplementary documents. All registrations during the roadshow were offered for free by SERC, which requires 20 000 riels for both online and offline requests on regular days.
PPLS Chairman and Director Mr. Chea Sothea said that, “We are very proud to bring knowledge, opportunities, and motivation to all participants, and we are happy with the results whether it is few or more because PPLS, CDX, and GWC are still the only companies that have been carrying on this large-scale educational campaign for the benefits of the Cambodian people and the national economy as a whole,”
“In 2018, 2019, and 2022, the three companies already achieved great success from such campaigns. That was why the three companies did it again in 2023 and will continue at all costs,” added Mr. Chea Sothea.
As an important part of the event’s theme, the presentation on how to motivate oneself and surrounding people on a daily basis to build a quality life received a lot of attention from most participants and attracted 250 people signing up to join the future training. Particularly, PPLS offered free enrollment as a gift for those who signed up on the seminar day. The original price is 198 dollars per course.
The first route of the roadshow 2023 ended fruitfully as it greatly enhanced the awareness and understanding of the participants regarding the securities market, the importance of financial literacy, investment opportunities, and the motivational guidelines for a better life. After expressing appreciation to SERC, all provincial administrations, partners, and participants, PPLS gained more ambition and commitment to doing more for our clients, country, and the world
