Due to The Hong Kong Observatory issuing an announcement that will consider giving the No. 8 Storm Signal during today Cambodia Time 05:00 pm – 08:00 pm, the evening trading session of HK50 will be terminated 15 minutes after the hoisting of the Signal.

Following is the morning trading session’s arrangements on 25th August 2022:

1. No. 8 Signal warning discontinued before Cambodia Time 06:15 am:

Morning trading sessions begin normal trading hours;

2. No. 8 Signal warning discontinued during Cambodia Time 06:15 am – Cambodia Time 08:00 am:

Morning trading sessions begin two hours after the discontinuation of the signal warning;

3. No. 8 Signal warning discontinued after Cambodia Time 08:00 am and at before Cambodia Time 11:00 am:

The morning trading session will be cancelled and the afternoon trading session begin two hours after the discontinuation of the signal warning or at Cambodia Time 12:00 noon, whichever is later ;

4. No. 8 Signal warning discontinued after Cambodia Time 11:00 am: No trading for the day, including the evening trading session.

Trading will begin on the first half hour at least two hours after the discontinuation of the signal. Example: If the signal is discontinued at 07:15 am, the trading will begin at 09:30 am. If the signal is discontinued at 7:30 am, the trading will begin at 9:30 am.
