Market Notice

1. The Cambodia Securities Exchange (“the CSX”) is a public enterprise which is established to operate the securities exchange in Cambodia. The CSX is seeking proposals from qualified IT maintenance companies (local/international) interested in providing IT Infrastructure Maintenance and Training Services to support the Cambodia Securities Market.

2. Bid method: Awarding the contract after the negotiation with the priority negotiation partner

A. The technical proposal and bid price document must be received at the same time.

B. The bid price document (shall include) the details of costing must be separated from the technical proposal, and be submitted in the sealed envelope where the seal or signature is affixed thereon.

3. Acceptance of bid application

A. Submission deadline: No later than 5:00 PM, November 18, 2021 (by personal visit or via postal service).

4. Schedule and other details: The interested bidders are expected to examine all corresponding documents, including the Request for Proposal and it shall be deemed that those participating in bidding have accepted the details specified in the Request for Proposal (available for download on the CSX homepage, http://www.csx.com.kh).

On Monday 06 September 2021, DBD Engineering Plc. and Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) hosted DBD’s Official Listing Ceremony presided over by H.E. Dr. Hean Sahib, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia and the Chairman of CSX. DBD Engineering is the 1st company to be listed on the growth board of CSX with the symbol code DBDE. The total number of listed shares is 6,461,538 with the IPO price of KHR 2,380 per share which makes the total market capitalization of KHR 44 billion (approx. USD 11 million).

The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) informed its members, investors and the general public that CSX granted an approval in principal to SBI Royal Securities Plc. to renew its Liquidity Provider (LP) status for the common stock of the Sihanouk Ville Autonomous Port. The renewal shall be valid from July 15, 2021 onward. CSX will evaluate the actual performance of LP activities of SBI Royal Securities Plc. on PAS stock for the first one-month period in order to decide on granting official approval to the company. The LP shall ensure that it fulfills all the obligations under the Operating Rules on Securities Liquidity Providing of CSX.

Cambodian stock market saw a remarkable increase in trading activity across the board during the lockdown with the daily average trading value and volume increased by approximately 13% and 19% respectively based on data comparison of 10 days before and 10 days during the lockdown where the CSX Index saw a bullish trend to peak at 648.33 points in the mid-lockdown period before a plummet despite a flat line in the days prior to said lockdown.

The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) is honored to inform all investors that the CSX shall operate its securities trading as usual, including securities clearing and settlement operations, and securities depository operations during the lockdown on Phnom Penh, pursuant to the Government’s Notification Number 49, dated 14 April 2021, on the Lockdown of Phnom Penh Capital and Takhmao City of Kandal Province to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

The trading hours shall remain the same, with the opening session starting from 8am to 9am, the continuous session from 9am to 2:50pm and the closing session from 2:50pm to 3pm.

The CSX encourages all investors to place trading orders through the Mobile Trading System (MTS) with the link: mts.csx.com.kh, rather than filing directly with a securities firm to comply with the Government’s 3 Dos and 3 Don’t to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
