Business Summary
ACLEDA Bank was first established in 1993 as a project of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Cambodia. With the consistent operation development, ACLEDA Bank has gone through a series of unstoppable developments and successfully transformed to the most leading commercial bank in Cambodia for the most gross loans and network distribution channels located in all of the cities and provinces of Cambodia. Furthermore, beside the domestic expansion, ACLEDA Bank has also successfully expanded its branches and operations to the neighboring counties including Laos and Myanmar with capacity of commercial banks and microfinance institutions.
The majority of the customers are those individuals, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, while the facilitated product lines includes deposits, loans and other financial services such as remittances, cash management, trade finance, financial leasing, bancassurance, and integrated internet banking.
Beside those accomplishments, ACLEDA Bank also became the first bank in Cambodia that has been rated by the top international rating agencies such as Standard & Poor’s and GIIRS. Moreover, the bank also elected and became a member of World Economic Forum (WEF).
