Business Summary
Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, as “PAS” ticked in Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), was established in 1956 under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MPWT) and the Ministry of Economic and Finance (MEF). PAS is the only deep seawater autonomous port, which is the core backbone of Cambodia’s economy. Since Cambodia’s economy majorly relies on import and export industry, it is significant for PAS to expand the route domestically and globally. Besides, PAS is also determined as the core cargo distribution centrate, which consists of a multidimensional distribution system and is directly linked to Phnom Penh through Sihanoukville Phnom Penh airport, National road No. 3, and No. 4 and Railroad.
The services that PAS operates includes navigational services for vessels call in and out of the port, cargo-handling, stevedoring, lift-on, lift-off, cargo transportation, cargo storage, warehousing, and transportation services. Furthermore, the port also operates a special economic zone, which provides the factory land rental services to interested factories.
